On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but I’ve included a few favorites I’ve visited before because they still feel fresh to the valley. One of those is Beaumont, a local staple I couldn’t leave off the list after picking up a breakfast burrito there recently.

What keeps me coming back to Beaumont is a combination of convenience and consistently fresh ingredients. If you head into the Wasatch for hiking, biking, or skiing, Beaumont is an ideal stop to fuel up. I often grab a breakfast burrito there before a long day on the mountain. The drive-through is fast and convenient, but the quality feels deliberate rather than rushed.

Unlike many quick burritos that can be heavy and greasy, Beaumont’s version manages to be satisfying without feeling sluggish afterward — a big plus when you’re heading straight into physical activity. The burrito is loaded with fresh scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, creamy avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. Those ingredients create a bright, balanced profile that feels both hearty and clean.

The real standout, though, is the sauce. Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing adds tang, richness, and a touch of brightness that pulls all the elements together. A great sauce can make a simple burrito memorable, and this one really does the job.
Beaumont’s Millcreek location sits between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard and offers much more than breakfast burritos. The menu includes excellent coffee, freshly baked pastries, and seasonal salads like a popular burrata salad that often tops my list. The café’s interior is thoughtfully designed with an attractive patio, so it’s a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a relaxed meal when you have the time.
A quick note about timing: good food draws a crowd. On weekends you’ll frequently find a line of customers outside. If you just need coffee and a pastry, the line moves quickly and the drive-through is a great option. If you want to sit inside, plan for a bit of a wait on busy mornings. Even so, the combination of quality, convenience, and atmosphere makes it worth the visit.
Overall, Beaumont is a reliable choice for a flavorful, well-balanced breakfast that travels well and fuels an active day. Whether you’re headed into the canyons or looking for a cozy local café experience, it’s easy to recommend Beaumont for its fresh ingredients, thoughtful flavors, and welcoming space.
