Oreo Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreos (regular or Double Stuf)
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box chocolate fudge cake mix (dry)
  • 1 1/2–2 sticks cold butter, sliced thin

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange the Oreos in a single layer to cover the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Open the can of sweetened condensed milk and pour it evenly over the Oreos, covering them completely.
  • Spoon dollops of thawed Cool Whip over the condensed milk, then spread gently and evenly to create a smooth layer.
  • Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the Cool Whip. Arrange the thin slices of cold butter across the top so the mix is mostly covered.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, until the top is set and golden. The layers beneath will be soft and pudding-like. Let the dessert rest for a few minutes before serving.
