Cookie Dough Mummy Truffles – an easy three-ingredient treat that comes together in minutes for Halloween!

Can you believe Halloween is only ten days away? The season flies by. I was at a craft store yesterday and they already had Christmas decorations out — a little premature if you ask me. But if you’re ready to celebrate spooky season, these Cookie Dough Mummy Truffles are a fast, fun option that requires minimal effort and only three ingredients.
Why You Will Like This Recipe
I had a tube of store-bought cookie dough in the fridge and decided not to eat it straight from the tube (well, mostly) and instead rolled it into bite-sized truffles. These mummies are simply cookie dough, melted white chocolate for coating and mummy bandages, and candy eyeballs for the finishing touch. It’s an easy 3-ingredient Halloween recipe that’s perfect for last-minute parties, school treats, or a quick festive dessert.
Candy eyeballs are widely available during the Halloween season — I found mine at Walmart. Smaller eyeballs are easier to bite through and look proportionate on the truffles.
Ingredients Needed for Cookie Dough Mummy Truffles
- 1 tube of store-bought cookie dough
- 1 bag of white chocolate chips or white almond bark
- 1 package of candy eyeballs (available at many grocery or craft stores)
How to Make Cookie Dough Mummy Truffles
Step 1 Roll the cookie dough into small, even-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 2 Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Optional: add a teaspoon of coconut oil to thin the chocolate slightly. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.

Step 3 Dip each cookie dough ball into the melted white chocolate to coat fully, then return them to the lined baking sheet. Place the sheet in the freezer briefly to help the coating set (about 10–20 seconds is usually enough).

Step 4 Drizzle remaining white chocolate over each coated truffle to create the “mummy bandages.” While the drizzle is still wet, press two candy eyeballs onto each truffle. Allow them to fully set before serving.

How Do I Store Leftovers?
Once the truffles are fully set, transfer them to an airtight container. Glass containers are ideal because they don’t retain odors. If you use plastic, choose a BPA-free, food-grade option. Keep the container in the refrigerator; these truffles are best enjoyed within three to four days.
