This Caramel Cashew Protein Shake post is sponsored by Premier Protein, but the thoughts expressed and the recipe are my own.
This Caramel Cashew Protein Shake has quickly become a favorite. It combines Premier Protein’s Salted Caramel ready-to-drink shake with cashews, cashew butter, and a scoop of salted caramel ice cream for a creamy, thick, macro-friendly treat. It satisfies a sweet tooth while delivering plenty of protein. Follow along to make it at home.

Caramel Cashew Protein Shake with Premier Protein
Salted Caramel is one of my go-to flavors, and Premier Protein’s Salted Caramel ready shake is an excellent base. On its own the shake is convenient and nutritious — 30 grams of protein and only about 160 calories per serving — but turning it into a dessert-style shake makes it feel indulgent without blowing macros.
To enhance the texture and flavor I add soaked cashews for creaminess, a bit of cashew butter for richness, and a scoop of salted caramel ice cream to deepen the caramel notes. A light topping of whipped cream and extra caramel syrup finishes it off.

All about the Caramel
If you want more caramel without extra calories, low-calorie caramel syrups work great. Use a zero-calorie or low-calorie caramel syrup of your choice to add more flavor without changing the nutrition profile drastically. Any low-calorie caramel sauce will blend nicely into this recipe.
Adjust the caramel intensity to taste — a drizzle inside the glass, blended into the shake, or drizzled on top all work well.
