Are you ready for a delicious and simple breakfast idea? Try everything (but the) bagel sheet pan eggs with smoked salmon — a quick, flavorful dish that gives you all the taste of an everything bagel without the bread.

I discovered Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning on social media and finally tried it myself — now I use it on almost everything. It captures the familiar everything-bagel flavor and makes this sheet pan egg dish especially tasty. If you don’t have Trader Joe’s, you can make a similar mix at home using poppy seeds, dried onion, garlic granules, black and white sesame seeds, and flaky sea salt.

What’s in the mix
This sheet pan egg recipe leans into the classic everything-bagel pairings. Key ingredients include:
- Smoked salmon
- Cherry tomatoes
- Red onion
- Dill
- Capers
- Cream cheese (optional)
If you avoid dairy, omit the cream cheese—the recipe still shines without it.
The joy of sheet pan eggs
Sheet pan eggs are an efficient way to make multiple breakfasts at once. In about 30 minutes you can bake enough portions for meal prep or to serve at a casual brunch.
For the best cleanup, grease the sheet pan very well or use a Silpat (a nonstick silicone baking mat) to prevent sticking. A generous layer of oil, ghee, or coconut oil on the pan prevents the eggs and toppings from adhering and makes removal simple.

How I like to serve them
My favorite way to enjoy these sheet pan eggs is gently reheated over a lightly dressed bed of salad greens, with a scoop of sauerkraut on the side. They also make a great sandwich filling, or a portable breakfast tucked into a paper towel for eating on the go.
