2 Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge (V, GF, DF): an incredibly simple recipe for thick, decadent chocolate peanut butter fudge. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner — the perfect excuse to indulge in chocolate (and a little peanut butter, because why not?). If you enjoy quick fudge, you might also like my 2-ingredient, 5-minute homemade fudge recipe. It’s ultra-simple and requires no refrigeration for storage.
Do you celebrate the holiday big or keep it low-key? I’m usually relaxed about Valentine’s Day, though Erik and I have made a few memorable trips over the years. I’ll share one of my favorites below, but first: the recipe. This 2 Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge is effortless to prepare and tastes richly chocolatey and peanut buttery. It’s perfect to make for a special someone — or just for yourself. If you want a chocolate-free peanut butter option, my friend Erin’s vegan peanut butter fudge is fantastic too.

I’d been testing this recipe for a while and even made a few batches over the holidays. For a while it felt like I’d already shared a lot of chocolate-and-nut-butter treats, so I waited until February to publish this one. But now that the month is here, it’s time to enjoy a little indulgence — you’ve earned it.
Treats, chocolate, and peanut butter: that’s a winning combination in my book. If you’re exploring other variations, there are options ranging from paleo almond-butter fudge cups to no-bake chocolate peanut butter bars. But if you want simple and fast, this two-ingredient freezer fudge is unbeatable.

While I wait to hear your thoughts on the fudge, here’s a favorite Valentine’s Day memory: our first Valentine’s trip together. In 2009 Erik insisted on keeping the destination a secret and left me one clue — “wear waterproof boots.” My imagination ran wild: rafting, water parks, and other aquatic adventures. I searched San Francisco for the perfect pair and ultimately didn’t buy them. At the airport, I discovered we were going to Seattle. Erik’s “waterproof boots” hint was simply because it rains there. We both laughed — it was sweet and low-key, and one of those memories that still makes me smile.

Do you have a memorable Valentine’s story? I’d love to hear it. For now, here’s what you need to know about the recipe:

2 Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge (Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy-Free)
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups unsalted natural peanut butter
- 1 ¼ cups vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Line a standard loaf pan (I used a 9-inch pan) with parchment or wax paper. Clear space in the freezer for the pan.
-
Combine the peanut butter and vegan chocolate chips in a medium, microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second increments, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
-
Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth with a rubber spatula into an even layer.
-
Freeze for about 1 hour, until firm. Remove from the freezer and slice into 18 squares. Store as noted below.
Notes
– Store in an airtight container in the freezer for 1–2 months. If refrigerated, the fudge keeps up to 2 weeks.
