Kim Kardashian’s Mango Greentini Cocktail Recipe

After 14 years, the Kardashians have finished filming the cultural phenomenon Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Love them or not, the show reshaped pop culture and helped launch a new era of social media and reality entertainment. I’m a fan — Kim K ranks as my top favorite — so I decided to watch the final episode while making one of her favorite drinks from the Health Nut restaurant in Woodland Hills, California.

The Health Nut is known for the salads the family often enjoys: the Chef Salad and the Chinese Chicken Salad. I’ll share copycat versions of those salads soon, but for now I made the tea/mocktail they frequently sip: the Mango Greentini. This light, refreshing mocktail combines bright green tea with sweet mango puree for a deliciously simple drink. Below you’ll find two versions of the recipe: a small batch for 2 servings and a larger pitcher method. Brew a pot of green tea, prepare the mango puree, and enjoy this while watching the finale that aired on June 10th on E!.

Servings 2

Ingredients

  • For 2 servings: steep 2 green tea bags in 15 oz (about 2 cups) of boiling water for at least 10 minutes. For a pitcher: steep 3 green tea bags in 4 cups boiling water for 10–15 minutes.
  • Use ripe mangoes. Peel and cut 1 mango into chunks for the 2‑serving version; 2–3 mangos for the pitcher.
  • Reserve a small piece of mango, diced, for garnish.
  • In a blender, puree the mango chunks with 1/2 cup water (for 2 servings) or 1 cup water (for the pitcher) until smooth — about 10–20 seconds.
  • If the mangoes are underripe or not sweet enough, add 1–2 teaspoons of honey (or to taste) while blending.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in the cooled green tea until it reaches about 3/4 full (or fill a pitcher with ice and add the tea for the larger batch).
  • Strain the mango puree into the glass or pitcher using a fine mesh strainer so the pulp is reduced and the drink pours smoothly.
  • Garnish with the reserved diced mango pieces.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Instructions

  • Brew the green tea and let it steep for the recommended time, then remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature or chill briefly.
  • Peel and cut the mango(es). Set aside a small portion diced for garnish.
  • Blend the mango chunks with the appropriate amount of water until smooth. Taste and add honey if extra sweetness is desired.
  • Fill glasses (or a pitcher) with ice and pour in the cooled green tea.
  • Strain the mango puree into the glass or pitcher so the drink stays smooth. Stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with the reserved mango pieces and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!
